(MCMINNVILLE, Tenn. – December 12, 2019) – Raintree Manor today announced it has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Nursing Care Center Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal of Approval® is a symbol of quality that reflects a health care organization’s commitment to providing safe and quality patient and resident care.
Raintree Manor underwent a rigorous, unannounced on-site review on October 22, 2019. During the review, a team of Joint Commission reviewers evaluated compliance with nursing care center standards related to several areas, including assistance with activities of daily living, coordination of care, and staff education and training.
The Joint Commission’s standards are developed in consultation with health care experts and providers, measurement experts and patients. They are informed by scientific literature and expert consensus to help health care organizations measure, assess and improve performance. The surveyors also conducted on-site observations and interviews.

Established in 1966, The Joint Commission’s Nursing Care Center Accreditation Program accredits more than 1,000 organizations that offer nursing home and other long term care services. The accreditation and certification programs are awarded for a three-year period.
